The weekend of June 20th thru June 22nd is headlined by the Queen of Canada Chantilly taking to the track at Woodbine Mohawk Park in the $140,000 CDN Ontario Sire Stakes Gold event on June 21st.
On June 20th we see stake action go to the gate at three different tracks including at Yonkers Raceway, Woodbine Mohawk Park, and Scioto Downs. We start the weekend off at Scioto Downs with five divisions of the Buckeye Stallion Series for 3 Year Old Pacing Fillies goin for a purse of $20,000 each. We then head north of the border to Woodbine Mohawk Park for a single division of the Ontario Sire Stakes Gold Series for 3 Year Old Trotting Fillies goin for a purse of $140,000 CDN. Lastly we finish the night off at Yonkers Raceway with two eliminations of the MGM Messenger Pace for 3 Year Old Open Pacers for a purse of $50,000 each.
On June 21st we see stake action take center stage at five different tracks including The Meadowlands, Pocono Downs, Vernon Downs, Century Downs, and Woodbine Mohawk Park. We start the day off at Pocono Downs with Pennsylvania Sire Stakes and Pennsylvania Stallion Series action including six divisions of the Pennsylvania Stallion Series for 3 Year Old Pacing Fillies goin for a purse of $20,000 each followed by two divisions of the Pennsylvania Sire Stakes for 3 Year Old Pacing Fillies goin for a purse of $56,120 each. We then head north of the border to Century Downs for two finals including the Shirley McClellan Breeders Stake for 3 Year Old Pacing Fillies goin for a purse of $118,000 CDN and the Moore's Mile Breeders Stake for 3 Year Old Pacing Colts & Geldings goin for a purse of $90,000 CDN. We finish the Canadian Stake action at Woodbine Mohawk Park with three divisions of the Ontario Sire Stakes Grassroots Series for 3 Year Old Pacing Colts & Geldings for a purse of $25,000 CDN each, followed by a single division of the Ontario Sire Stakes Gold Series for 3 Year Old Pacing Fillies for a purse of $140,000 CDN featuring Chantilly. Next we head to Vernon Downs for New York Sire Stakes action with four divisions of the New York Excelsior Series for 3 Year Old Pacing Fillies for a purse of $20,000 each, followed by two divisions of the New York Sire Stakes for 3 Year Old Pacing Fillies goin for a purse of $58,000 each. We finish the night off with four stake events at The Meadowlands starting with two finals for the New Jersey Development Fund starting with the final of the 3 Year Old Pacing Colts & Geldings goin for a purse of $48,000, followed by the final for the 3 Year Old Pacing Fillies goin for a purse of $48,000. The night concludes with two divisions of the Graduate Series for a purse of $75,000 each including a division of the 4 Year Old Open Trotters and the 4 Year Old Open Pacers.
On June 22nd we conclude the weekend with stake action at three different tracks including Saratoga Harness, Bangor Raceway, and Inverness Raceway. We start the day off at Saratoga Harness with New York Sire Stake action including one division of the New York Excelsior Series for 2 Year Old Trotting Colts & Geldings for a purse of $20,000 followed by two divisions of the New York Sire Stakes for 2 Year Old Trotting Colts & Geldings goin for a purse of $76,950 and $75,600. We then head to Bangor Raceway for Maine Sire Stake action including two divisions of the Maine Sire Stakes for 3 Year Old Trotting Fillies for a purse of $11,477 and $11,701, followed by one division of the Maine Sire Stakes for 3 Year Old Trotting Colts & Geldings for a purse of $11,751. The weekend concludes north of the border in Nova Scotia at Inverness Raceway with Atlantic Sire Stake action including two divisions of the Atlantic Sire Stakes for 3 Year Old Pacing Colts & Geldings for a purse of $14,080 CDN each. The day ends with two divisions of the Phil Pinkney Memorial for 3 Year Old Pacing Fillies goin for a purse of $10,220 CDN each.
