Preview of the Stake Race Schedule June 16th thru June 19th

Coming off of a breathtaking Pepsi North American Cup we continue onward towards The Meadowlands Pace and The Hambletonian. This week begins the Stake Events for 2 Year Olds as the New York Sire Stakes takes center stage headlined by the New York Sire Stakes 2 Year Old Pacing Fillies at Buffalo Raceway on June 18th sendings out one division for a purse of $112,100.

June 16th begins the week with stake action at three different tracks including the beginning of the Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund races at Harrington Raceway, the Kentucky Sire Stakes at Oak Grove, and the Ontario Grassroots at Woodbine Mohawk Park. The stake action begins at Oak Grove with the Kentucky Sire Stakes sending out all four classes for 4 Year Olds featuring just one division for each of the 4 Year Old Pacing Horses & Geldings and the 4 Year Old Trotting & Pacing Mares for a purse of $50,000 each. The 4 Year Old Trotting Horses & Geldings send out two divisions for a purse of $50,000 each. From there we head north to Harrington Raceway for two eliminations of the Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund for 3 Year Old Pacing Colts & Geldings for a purse of $20,000 each. Finally we cross the border to Woodbine Mohawk Park for four divisions of the Ontario Sire Stakes Grassroots Leg 2 for 3 Year Old Pacing Fillies goin for a purse of $25,000 CDN each.

June 17th features the Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund at Harrington Raceway for 3 Year Old Pacing Fillies sending out three eliminations for a purse of $20,000 each.

June 18th features stake action from three different tracks including the aforementioned New York Sire Stakes at Buffalo Raceway, Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund at Harrington Raceway, and the Maine Sire Stakes at Bangor Raceway. The day begins with the featured race of the week at Buffalo Raceway the New York Sire Stakes for 2 Year Old Pacing Fillies sending out one division for a purse of $112,100, the card also includes one division of the New York Excelsior Series for 2 Year Old Pacing Fillies for a purse of $20,000. From there we head to Bangor Raceway for the Maine Sire Stakes for 3 Year Old Pacing Colts & Geldings sending out two divisions for a purse of $12,387 each. Finally we head to Harrington Raceway for both trotting classes first up we have the Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund for 3 Year Old Trotting Fillies sending out two eliminations for a purse of $20,000 each, followed by two eliminations of the Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund for 3 Year Old Trotting Colts & Geldings for a purse of $20,000 each.

June 19th closes the week out with stake action from two tracks leading us into another stake packed weekend. First up on the day we have the New York Excelsior Series for 2 Year Old Pacing Colts & Geldings sending out two divisions at Yonkers Raceway goin for a purse of $20,000 each, followed by the New York Sire Stakes for 2 Year Old Pacing Colts & Geldings sending out two divisions for a purse of $77,300 each. The week concludes at Scioto Downs with the Buckeye Stallion Series for 3 Year Old Trotting Fillies for a purse of $20,000 each and the Final for the Jerry Knappenberger for 5 Year Old & Under Pacer NW 1 PM or NW 7,500 Lifetime for a purse of $30,000.
