June 13th features stake action at four different tracks including huge cards at both The Meadowlands and Vernon Downs. The Meadowlands has two division of the New Jersey Standardbred Development Fund Series for 3 Year Old Pacers. The 3 Year Old Pacing Colts & Geldings take to the track in a Non-Betting Race for a purse of $10,000 and the 3 Year Old Pacing Fillies take to the track for a purse of $10,000 also. The stakes action continues on with the Graduate Series sending including one division of the Graduate Series for 4 Year Old Open Pacers for a purse of $50,000 and two divisions of the Graduate Series for 4 Year Old Open Trotters for a purse of $50,000 each. The night is headlined at The Meadowlands with two New Jersey Sire Stake Finals. The 3 Year Old Trotting Colts & Geldings takes to the stage first for a purse of $225,000 followed by the 3 Year Old Trotting Fillies goin for a purse of $225,000. Hoosier Park sends forth two divisions of the Indiana Sire Stakes for 3 Year Old Pacing Colts & Geldings for a purse of $49,000 and $49,500. Vernon Downs sends out a stacked card of New York Sire Stake action including the Empire Breeders Classic. First on the card is the New York Sire Stakes for 3 Year Old Pacing Colts & Geldings sendings out two divisions for a purse of $59,100 each. Followed by the Empire Breeders Classic for 3 Year Old Trotting Fillies sendings out two divisions for a purse $87,750 and $89,000. The Empire Breeders Classic for 3 Year Old Trotting Colts & Geldings closes out the card in two divisions for a purse of $87,250 and $88,500 featuring the first start of the year for the Hambo favorite Maryland....
June 14th also features stake action from four different tracks include one of the biggest cards of the year at Woodbine Mohawk Park featuring six graded events. The day begins with Maine Sire Stakes actions at Cumberland Raceway featuring two divisions for the 3 Year Old Pacing Fillies for a purse of $11,451 and $11,626. From there we go to Hoosier Park to see two divisions of the Indiana Sire Stakes for 3 Year Old Pacing Fillies goin for a purse of $49,500 and $50,000. North of the border we head for the remainder of the stake action with the first stop at Century Downs for two eliminations of the Moore's Mile Breeders Stake for 3 Year Old Pacing Colts & Geldings goin for a purse of $14,000 CDN each. Woodbine Mohawk Park is the final destination as we strap in for a night of big time names and major graded stake action. The first stake event on the card is the Grade 1 Roses Are Red Final for 3 Year Old & Up Pacing Fillies & Mares goin for a purse of $287,000 CDN featuring the Queen of Pacing Twin B Joe Fresh. June 15th features stake action at three different tracks including the Minnesota Sired 3 Year Old Open Trot Class A event at Running Aces for purse of $21,000. From there we go to Bangor Raceway for the Maine Sire Stakes. First on the early Non-Betting card we have the Maine Sire Stakes for 3 Year Old Trotting Colts & Geldings for a purse of $11,526, followed by the Maine Sire Stakes for 3 Year Old Trotting Fillies sending out two divisions for a purse of $11,474 and $11,698. The weekend concludes at Pocono Downs with Pennsylvania Sire Stake actions as we see two divisions of the 3 Year Old Trotting Fillies go to the gate for a purse of $51,083 and $50,883, thus concluding the first major stake weekend of the year as all eyes continue to turn to The Meadowlands Pace and Hambletonian 100....
