Preview of the Stake Race Schedule May 30 thru June 1

The weekend is headlined by a loaded card of stake race action at Western Fair on May 30th featuring the $150,000 CDN Camluck Classic Invitational Pace. The card also features the Forest City Fillies & Mares Invitational Pace for a purse of $50,000 CDN and four divisions of the London Classic Sale Series Finals for 3 & 4 Year Old Pacers & Trotters going for a purse of $40,000 CDN each. The stake race action also features three divisions of the Ontario Sire Stakes Grassroots Series for 3 Year Old Colts & Geldings Pace goin for a purse of $25,000 each. The night also includes the final for the Kevin Greenfield Trot at Scioto Downs for Ohio Sired NW 1 Horses & Geldings 5 Year Old & Under for a purse of $30,000.... 

Saturday May 31st has stake race action solely at Woodbine Mohawk Park where we see three stake events. The Grade 3 Somebeachsomewhere for 3 Year Old Open Pacers sends out two divisions for a purse of $75,000 CDN each. Woodbine then sends forth two divisions of the Graduate Series for 4 Year Old Open pacers for a purse of $68,000 CDN each and finishes the stake action with a division of the Graduate Series for 4 Year Old Open Trotters for a purse of $102,000 CDN....

Sunday June 1st brings us to Tioga Downs with seven races in the New York Sire Stakes and Excelsior Series action and then to finish of the weekend we head to Running Aces for two divisions of Minnesota Sire Stakes. Tioga Downs sends forth two divisions of New York Sire Stakes for 3 Year Old Pacing Fillies for a purse of $52,500 each. Then in the New York Excelsior Series we see five straight divisions of 3 Year Old Pacing Fillies for a purse of $20,000 each concluding a seven race stretch of stake action. Sunday night Running Aces continues its Minnesota Sire Stakes with a division of the 3 Year Old Trotting Fillies and a division of the 3 Year Old Trotting Colts & Geldings each goin for a purse of $17,500 thus concluding a busy week of stake action....
